Thank You, Veterans!
Garcia Gators celebrated Veteran's Day! Students and their Veterans enjoyed breakfast and a choir performance. We thank each Veteran today and everyday for their courage and sacrifice.
Garcia Fun Run!
We completed a successful Fun Run at Garcia! Gators helped to raise funds for the school and had a great time running laps on a beautiful Thursday afternoon. Dr. V even joined in for a few laps!
Hands On Science!
Our 4th and 5th grade Science classes got to see weathering, erosion, and deposition in action! Thank you to the Texas A&M Agricultural Rockwall group for coming out with their stream table to demonstrate erosion caused by water. Thank you to the amazing 4th and 5th grade Science teachers for planning this great hands on lesson.
Gator Bites!
Our wonderful ACE students had the opportunity to visit classrooms with a cart full of snacks and drinks for sale for staff. This hands-on experience allows students to develop valuable life skills, such as communication, money handling, and customer service, while engaging with our school community. Thank you to our Speech teachers and ACE teachers for providing this opportunity for our ACE Gators!

We had a fun Friday on October 18th with our Book Character Day and evening Trunk or Treat! So many Gators dressed as awesome book characters and our parking lot was overflowing with families at the trunk or treat. Thank you to PTO and our Gator families for making it a success!

Rockwall-Heath High School honored more than 250 students for outstanding achievement in academics on Nov. 20, 2024. Students were recognized for their achievements in Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate, National Merit and College Board, Superintendent Scholars, and Trustee awards.

For the second consecutive year, Rockwall High School has received the Silver level of distinction for the College Board AP School Honor Roll.

Teacher Julie Byrnes at Billie Stevenson Elementary received a $300 grant from local Bimbo Bakeries this week. The Bimbo Bakeries team, along with mascot Osito, visited Mrs. Byrnes's classroom to present her with a check and lots of baked goods and treats!

The 2023-2024 FCCLA Fashion Design students from the Dr. Gene Burton College and Career Academy placed in the Top 10 in the nation at the FCCLA National Leadership Conference held in Seattle, Washington.
