STEAM Family Night
We enjoyed having so many Gator families join us for our STEAM Night! There were activities about math skills, coding, density, engineering, and more. Thank you to all the educators and learners who made it such a fun night.
Science Stream Table Demonstration
Garcia 4th and 5th grade Scientists got to observe weathering, erosion, and deposition in action! Thank you to the Texas A&M Agriculture department in Rockwall for bringing the stream table for the demonstration.
Robotics Event
Our 3 Robotics teams did a fantastic job representing Garcia at the Robotics Event! Way to go, Gators.

Gator Rally!
We have so much to celebrate for the first term of school! At our Gator Rally we recognized students who won a golden ticket, a character award, an attendance award, and students who participated in the Cotton Bowl Art Contest! We also thanked our leadership team in 4th and 5th grade for their hard work. It has been a great 9 weeks. Happy Fall Break, Gators!

We were represented well at the Rockwall ISD Student Council meeting! Our 5th grade Gators are showing strong character traits in leadership. We appreciate all their hard work for our campus.

Rockwall ISD continues its tradition of strong financial leadership, earning a top "Superior” rating—the highest rating available—on the 2024–2025 Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST) report for 23 years in a row.

Thirty-two teams from nine elementary schools participated in the VEX IQ Mix & Match challenge at the Rockwall ISD 10th Annual Elementary Robotics Tournament.

The dedication will take place at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at Ursula Rakow Middle School, located at 4700 Gettysburg Blvd. in Fate.

Both the Rockwall High School Orange Wave Band and the Rockwall-Heath High School Mighty Hawk Band earned Division I ratings at the UIL Area C Marching Band Contest, advancing to the state competition and making district history.

The hall is named after a James Randolph, Jr., a highly respected member of the Rockwall community who dedicated his life to the military and educational service.

Rockwall County taxpayers should begin receiving their property tax notices in the mail this week, and as a result, Rockwall ISD is providing clarification regarding the upcoming November 4 Voter-Approval Tax Ratification Election (VATRE).
