Multicultural Night

Relationships are one of the core values of Rockwall ISD. It is because of the relationships that have been built between our campus staff and our students' families that we have such an amazing time each year at Multicultural Night. Over 20 cultures were represented by Garcia students and families! It is wonderful to celebrate each other through this event.

Teacher and Paraprofessional of the Year

Congratulations to Ms. Suazo and Ms. Marquez on being named Teacher and Paraprofessional of the Year! Both of these ladies work tirelessly for the students at Garcia and we are so proud to have them represent us for the 2025-2026 school year.

The image shows a collage of various scenes related to %22Wild About Reading%22, including a classroom setting with students, a group of people standing in front of a %22Wild About Reading%22 sign, and other images depicting reading-related activities.
Read Across America

Garcia Gators celebrated Read Across America this week. We are WILD ABOUT READING! We had guest readers all week, dressed up in our wildest outfits, and enjoyed an author visit to finish out the week.

Gator Basketball!

Garcia Gators are working hard and having fun playing basketball and cheering every week! We are so proud of our Gators and their sportsmanship on the court.

1st Grade Program

Our First Grade Gators were shining bright for their annual music program! Thank you to Mrs. Fisher for her leadership and hard work with our students. It was so much fun!

Spring has sprung at Garcia

This month 1st and 2nd graders have learned about spring and the life cycle of chickens and butterflies! 1st grade has chicks that have hatched in their classrooms. 2nd grade has watched as butterflies emerged from their chrysalis and released them into the wild.

Sphero Coding!

4th graders enjoyed block coding in the library using Sphero robots. They worked through trial and error to navigate obstacles for their robots. It was fun and challenging!

4th Grade TX History Wax Museum

4th graders participated in a Texas History Wax Museum! They dressed up as their chosen Texan and presented information to visitors to the museum. We learned so many things about famous, innovative, and influential Texans! Way to go, 4th grade.
